Is it seriously the last week of 2010? Where did Halloween go? My halloween decorations never got put up
I vaguely remember Thanksgiving dinner. I think it was a blur. Did I eat stuffing? Please tell me I got to eat some stuffing!! Did Christmas just happen? What?! Noooooo! 2011 is almost here!??! I want that time machine from Back to the Future with Marty McFly & travel back to the last 5 months. Everything happened so fast! I was not expecting to be as busy as I was. Totally caught me off guard. This has been the most amazing year for Moondance Photography. I have met so many people, including clients that I can now call dear friends & other local talented photographers that have helped me out so much. I have a few New Years resolutions already wrote down that I will try my hardest to stick with. The next few months are my downtime while the weather is bitter cold. {I like to think of it as my summer vacation but with no beach–DANG IT} It will give me time to refocus on myself & my business I’ve worked so hard at. It will give me time to spend with loved ones that I put off during the last 5 months. It will give me 8 hours of sleep again. It will give me time to finally get caught up on my blog. It will give me time to read the huge stack of fashion & photography magazines that are piled up a foot high (no joke). Not to mention I can finally finish reading Eclipse & start on the 4th book. (It’s only taken me 2 years to read the 1st 2 books & my friends think it’s ridiculous). I have so many things I want to do this new year that I’m just going to do it. There is no Marty McFly or a time machine to take us back in time. Life is too short. Take the chances & live in the now.
I hope everybody has a very Happy & Prosperous New Year!! Thank you again for such a fun & successful year for Moondance Photography! It’s because of my clients, that I can actually say that I love my job. I have lots of new & exciting things in store for 2011 that I can’t wait to show!
And because blog postings are better with photos, here are some recent photos of my sister modeling in 17 degree weather for me after we had some snow & ice hit our area a few weeks ago. As a joke, I told her to bring a bikini with her, but she didnt think it was very funny. I can tease her like that…because she’s my seeestor.
