I’m still here…

I’m still here. I’m still around. I’ve been glued to my computer, trying to get caught up on editing. I know this poor blog is seriously suffering. It’s all my fault & I apologize if you come here to catch up on sneak peeks & find that nothing has been added since October *sigh*   The fall months are my busiest of the year & it’s insane. Well, insane isn’t even the word for it.  I guess I wasn’t expecting it to be this crazy this year…It hit me like a ton of bricks. I believe that next year, I may need to have a part time assistant to help me out with returning emails, phone calls, photo orders and keeping up on my blog & Facebook Fan Page.  I’ve been averaging 5-6 hours of sleep, sometimes only eating 1 meal a day & totally skipping the gym {that eliptical is going to kick my butt when I get back to the gym. Can’t WAIT for that haha}. I put the important things in my life aside during my busy season. My husband has been so patient & wonderful with me. He knows I’ve been under a lot of stress & a total crab. My mom had to check on me because I went 8 days without talking to her– WHAT??!  I have to tell myself to take a break sometimes b/c life isn’t guaranteed tomorrow. I’m thankful that my business is successful & keeping me busy. There is so much more to photography than just taking pictures at a session. So much work behind what you see…but I wouldn’t trade this job in for anything!

When I start to get caught up on my editing, this blog will be jumpin’. Full of life, full of beautiful fall photo sessions and smiling faces again. Thank you for your patience & stay tuned!

P.S. Can anybody tell me what type of grey flower this is? I was mesmerized with it at a session & never seen one like this in my life.
